Nightflyers is set in the future on the eve of Earth's destruction. A crew of explorers travels the galaxy on The Nightflyer, the most advanced ship, to track down a mysterious alien spacecraft that might have the key for humanity’s survival. As the ship nears their destination, crew members find out that the ship’s artificial intelligence system guides them into the depths of space full of untold horrors. The novella was turned into a film in 1987 directed by Robert Collector.
