A group of French environmental activists Extinction Rebellion spilled 300 litres of fake blood on the Trocadero esplanade to remind Parisians about the critical loss of biodiversity, the Moloko Plus Telegram channel reports.
Nearly one million of species of plants and animals are in danger of extinction due to human activities, according to the summary of the report by the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) released on May 6.
