The 8th edition of Frieze New York takes place at Randall’s Park on May 2 – May 5. The art fair features galleries from 26 countries, Artforum reports.

“This is an exceptionally strong year for content at Frieze New York, making this fair the leading platform in the city to discover as well as to buy art,” Frieze Fairs director Victoria Siddall said. “This year’s edition continues to expand the potential of an art fair, showcasing new and under-represented art forms alongside the most significant names in modern and contemporary art.”

Organisers turn attention to the work Diálogos, a tribute to Latinx art by executive director of El Museo del Barrio Patrick Charpenel and curator Susanna V. Temkin. Other highlights are a section celebrating the legacy of Linda Goode Bryant’s gallery Just Above Midtown (JAM) and a collaboration of artist Javier Téllez and Outsider Art Fair.

The fair traditionally features works celebrating nonconformism and radical thinking. Galleries will present works by Leonor Fini, Greta Schödl and Kazuko Miyamoto, Joan Brown, Rachid Koraïchi and Yüksel Arslan.
